We are a scenic production & design company serving churches across the country. We provide scenic stage rentals and permanent installations for sanctuaries large and small. Who Is Concept Design Productions?


Concept Design Productions was founded in 1980 by environmental designers Jim & Rose Leverton, both of whom are graduates of The Art Center College of Design. Today the company has 30 employees and is situated in two facilities with 35,000 Sq. Ft. of space in Monrovia, California.

What services do you provide?

CDP helps you communicate your visual theme with impactful stage designs, screen surrounds, and podiums. We offer do-it-yourself packages that can be easily lit and presented in myriad ways to match your series. Plus, we specialize in expert design including 3D Renderings, CAD drawings, and design consultation. With almost 30 years of technical expertise, we help you integrate any stage design with your existing visual technology.

Where are you located?

We are located in Monrovia, CA, just north of Los Angeles. We can deliver a project locally, nationally, or even internationally. We work all across the globe delivering top quality scenic productions!

How much does your stuff cost?

Our project costs are as varied as our designs! Typically our total scenic environments will start at $5000, although prices can be lower for specific rental elements. Labor, shipping, and customization all factor into the total cost. We offer many different services and options that will get you a project that's right for you!

Can I see what my project looks like before I buy it?

Of course! We specialize in helping you design your project from start to finish. Our company offers realistic 3D renderings so that you and your clients can see what your project will look like in action. If you would like to see your personalized design possibilities, give us a call and we'll provide professional design services for a reasonable cost.

I have my own designs. Can you build them?

If you dream it, we can create it! Our talented shop staff is here to serve your project. We have a fully-equipped shop that can handle any custom project- from steel and aluminum tube bending to tensioned fabric structures to thermoplastics and resin molds. Plus, we're skilled in supporting your traditional theatrical construction as well. Our team has been crafting custom scenic solutions for years and we bring seasoned expertise to help you realize your vision!

Can you design it and I'll build it?

Of course! Our designers are pretty talented guys and they love coming up with ideas that fit your church's style. Give us a call and we'll consult with you to come up with the right look. Then when you're ready, we will send you detailed plans and blueprints so that you can turn your design into reality.

Do you provide installation?

Yes! Concept Design Productions provides top quality Production Management staff to see your installation through from start to finish. With years of industry experience, our friendly staff will work with you to create a scenic solution that is on-budget and on-time. We take the hassle out of production so you can relax and focus on your message.

How do I order your products and services?
